These are from Masterwriter, and they associate words in a relevant manner that makes it easier to find that special or different word you need to avoid being too repetitious. I like the UI of the software, as the organization is logical for writing fiction and so it is easier to compose stories.Ī brief word about Word Families. There are different areas of Masterwriter that are accessed by the icons across the top of the screen, which is useful but I’d like some buttons to navigate to a previous screen instead of re-selecting the category at the top of the screen. The left half of the Text screen is devoted to the text of the story, and the right side of the screen contains dictionary searches. To start I selected ‘File-New Title’ and started a fantasy short story I called Second Best. To test Masterwriter, I wrote a new short story just to get a feel for the user interface. It also checked for updates and took care of it, but there was no status bar that showed the progress of updating, so I had to wait for a update complete message before proceeding. The first time the product is launched, it requires registration, so make sure you have the serial number on hand at that time. I installed the software using a disk onto my 2.26 GHz Macbook and did not encounter any errors during the process. It gathers a wide range of data sources so they are ready for access when needed. Masterwriter is a tool to help organize writing data – words, grammar, and reference sources – for creative writers. Most writers either make trips to the library or use web browsers online to gather background information for their works of fiction. Refer to the "Wire Master Writer" example for use with this Receives data as an I2C/TWI slave device The code is from the Arduino 'slave_receiver'-example, I only changed the address. So I figured it must be something with this receiveEvent() that is used for that purpose in the Arduino-code. I also made the Arduino just send messages in a loop to my file, that worked. My problem is, that even though i2c is sending data in a loop, only the first message is shown on my serial interface (it is received correctly!), all future messages are not send from the Arduino. If messages are received, they are printed to Serial (Arduino is on my PC-COM-Port) I'm trying to read data from a microcontroller by reading out its i2c-interface and connecting this to my Arduino ATMega2560.
